Your Body Belongs to You

An 8-Week Sex & Trauma Group for Female-Identifying Adults

Trauma can change your relationship with your body, sexuality, intimacy, and pleasure. Healing can include discovering what you want that relationship to be now.

Your body belongs to you. Your boundaries belong to you. Your sexuality belongs to you.

Sex After Trauma Can Be Complicated

Trauma can affect sexuality in ways that aren't always easy to understand or talk about.

You may avoid sex entirely—or use sex as a way to feel connected, wanted, safe, or in control. You may struggle to stay present in your body. You may experience fear, numbness, shame, pain, difficulty with arousal or pleasure, or uncertainty about what you actually want.

Or maybe you've never had the opportunity to discover what a healthy relationship with your sexuality could look like.

There isn't one “normal” response to trauma.

And healing doesn't mean becoming more sexual, having more sex, or returning to the person you were before trauma.

It means having more choice.

What We'll Explore

Understanding Trauma & Sexuality

How trauma can influence your relationship with your body, sexuality, intimacy, arousal, pleasure, and connection.

The Female Sexual Response Cycle

Learning how sexual response actually works—including desire, arousal, context, safety, and the ways stress and trauma can affect the body's responses.

Safety, Consent & Boundaries

Exploring what safety means to you, recognizing your own yes and no, communicating boundaries, and developing greater trust in your ability to make choices about your body.

Reconnecting With Your Body

Building awareness of sensations, comfort, discomfort, needs, and preferences without forcing yourself to feel or experience anything you're not ready for.

Intimacy, Communication & Relationships

Exploring how to talk about sex, needs, boundaries, triggers, and intimacy with partners—and what safe, respectful connection can look like.

Pleasure, Desire & Choice

Making room to discover what you want—including the possibility that you're still figuring that out.

This Isn't About “Fixing” Your Sex Life

There is no version of sexuality you are supposed to achieve.

You don't have to want sex.

You don't have to become comfortable with something simply because someone else thinks you should be.

You don't have to perform healing for a partner.

And you don't have to reclaim anything you don't want to reclaim.

This group is about helping you understand your experiences, develop greater choice, and explore what a relationship with your body and sexuality could look like on your terms.

You Choose What You Share

This is a trauma-informed group, and you will never be required to disclose the details of your trauma or sexual experiences.

You can participate in whatever ways feel appropriate for you—through discussion, reflection, journaling, activities, or simply listening.

Questions are welcome. Silence is welcome. Not knowing is welcome.

You never have to tell your story to belong in the room.

Who Is This Group For?

This group is for female-identifying adults who have experienced trauma and want support exploring how it has affected their relationship with their body, sexuality, intimacy, or relationships.

You might come because sex feels frightening.

Because you feel disconnected or numb.

Because intimacy is complicated.

Because you struggle with boundaries or knowing what you want.

Because you want to understand your body's responses.

Or because you've never had a safe space to explore any of this before.

You do not need to know what you want your relationship with sexuality to look like before you come.
