Trauma & DBT Intensives
A focused, structured approach designed to support deeper work when weekly therapy hasn’t been enough
This may be a good fit if…
You’ve been in therapy before and feel like you’ve hit a plateau.
You’re ready to move deeper into trauma work but need more time and structure than weekly sessions allow.
You may be navigating dissociation, complex trauma, or patterns that feel difficult to access or shift within traditional formats.
What is a trauma intensive?
A trauma intensive is an extended session format that allows for deeper, more focused work over a shorter period of time.
Rather than working in one-hour increments, this approach creates the space needed to engage meaningfully with trauma processing, somatic work, and integration.
What is a DBT intensive?
DBT intensives are extended, skills-focused sessions designed to help you not just learn DBT concepts—but actually apply them in a meaningful, personalized way.
Rather than moving quickly through skills in a group format, these sessions provide dedicated time to understand how to use the DBT skills manual in your day-to-day life. We focus on translating the material into something practical, relevant, and usable in real situations.
This format allows for more in-depth support, individualized guidance, and the opportunity to work through barriers that often come up when trying to implement skills on your own.
What to expect:
Intensives are customized based on your needs, but may include:
Extended sessions (2–4+ hours)
Preparation and planning
Structured trauma processing
Somatic and regulation work
Integration and follow-up
Why this approach can be effective
For many people, meaningful change requires more than brief, intermittent sessions.
This format allows us to stay with the work long enough to move through it—rather than stopping just as things begin to surface.
It can reduce the start-stop cycle that often slows progress in traditional therapy.
A thoughtful, intentional process
This work is approached with care and structure.
We prioritize safety, pacing, and readiness, ensuring that intensives are appropriate and supportive for your system.
Not everyone is a fit for this format, and we’ll take time to determine whether this is the right approach for you.
Half-day intensive (3 hours): $600
Full-day intensive (6 hours): $1,000
Custom options may be available based on clinical needs.
