Somatic Protocols
Body-based approaches designed to support nervous system regulation and deeper therapeutic work.
What are somatic protocols?
Somatic protocols are structured, body-based approaches that support nervous system regulation and create the conditions for deeper therapeutic works.
These approaches focus on how experiences are held in the body - not just understood cognitively.
While telehealth options are available, many clients find in-person work especially supportive for nervous system regulation and somatic-focused approaches.
This may be helpful if
You feel stuck in patterns that don’t fully shift with insight alone.
You notice strong physiological responses - anxiety, shutdown, overwhelm - that are difficult to regulate.
You may be navigating trauma, dissociation, or chronic stress patterns that feel embedded in your body.
Approaches offered
Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
A listening-based intervention designed to support nervous system regulation through auditory pathways.
Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP)
A structured approach focused on supporting recovery, regulation, and system stabilization.
How this fits into therapy
Somatic protocols can be used as a standalone support or integrated into ongoing therapy.
They are often most effective when combined with structured therapeutic work, helping create a foundation for deeper processing.
A structured, supportive approach
These approaches are used intentionally with care.
We’ll determine together whether somatic protocols are appropriate for your needs and how they can best support your overall work.
Fees
Somatic protocols can be offered as part of an individuals treatment planning and included in a therapy session for individuals wish to have individual therapy.
If you are interested in SSP or RRP without becoming an individual therapy client, I do offer standalone packages! Each package includes:
30 minute initial consultation and autonomic mapping
Determination of SSP vs RRP
Up to 6 months listening access
Structured pacing guidance
Brief protocol messaging support
Monitoring and adjustment recommendations as needed
Coordination with outside therapist if applicable
Program materials/resources
$400 for 3 month subscription or
$150 per month on a month to basis (with a 3 month minimum)
Disclaimer: This program is not psychotherapy and does not replace ongoing therapeutic support. Clients who appear to need a higher level of support, stabilization, or therapeutic containment may be referred toward ongoing therapy rather than standalone participation.
